Welcome

A warm welcome to the Rotary Club Marbella-Guadalmina. We are one of only two English speaking, multi-national Rotary Clubs on the Costa del Sol, with over 40 members representing at least 10 different nationalities.  Rotary International  brings together a global network of volunteer leaders who dedicate their time and talent to tackle the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges. Rotary connects 1.2 million members from more than 200 countries. It is a non-political and non-sectarian organisation.

RCM-G wins Guinness World Record for Marbella!

It's official. Our GWR Beetle Challenge at the Palacio de Congresos in October won the World Record for the number of people simultaneously playing the game of Beetle.
Below - two of the Beetle Team, Pamela Lake and Campbell Ferguson, showing off the certificate with the Mayor of Marbella.
MEMBERS - if you took part in the event and would like a Certificate confirming your participation in a successful GWR attempt, please advise Ian James, who will arrange for one to be either emailed to you or printed.
How did we do it?                                                                              We are also proud to announce we have been awarded a Presidential Citation

VISITORS

Visiting Rotarians - you will be most welcome, but it is ESSENTIAL to let us know you are coming.  Please email Linda Eccles, our Sergeant at Arms, saa@marbella-guadalmina-rotary.club, to ensure you have a place (if clicking the email link doesn't work, just copy and paste it into the "To:" field of your email program). For our regular Thursday lunchtime meetings, the meeting cost is normally €27; it includes a welcome drink, a starter and main course, wine etc. with the meal, and a coffee (a separate tip of €2 for the staff is requested). Please arrive at 2pm for fellowship; the meal commences at 2.30pm and the meeting finishes promptly at 4pm (but you will normally be welcome to remain after that time for further fellowship).
Potential Members - if you wish to be considered for membership of our club, you may attend as a guest (normal meeting cost, as above, applies). Please contact our Membership team leader, Dr Ian Kuah, membership@marbella-guadalmina-rotary.club, to request an invitation to a  meeting, giving either a very brief resume of yourself and why you believe that you would make a good Rotarian, or other reason why you would like to attend (if clicking the email link doesn't work, just copy and paste it into the "To:" field of your email program).
