Cudeca

Cudeca Hospice is a renowned hospice and palliative care center located in Benalmádena, on the Costa del Sol in Spain. It was established in 1992 with the goal of providing specialist care and support for individuals with cancer and other advanced illnesses. Cudeca Hospice offers a range of services including home care, outpatient clinics, and inpatient care for those who require round-the-clock attention.

The organization is non-profit and heavily relies on donations, volunteers, and fundraising to maintain its services. They focus not only on the physical needs of patients but also on their emotional, social, and spiritual well-being, offering family support and grief counseling.

Cudeca’s mission is to provide dignity and quality of life for people during the final stages of life, supporting both the patient and their loved ones.

 

The main objective of Cudeca Foundation is palliative care for patients with cancer and other terminal illnesses on the Costa del Sol (Spain).

Its objective is to become a reference in the care of patients and their families from the principles of palliative care, through the creation of a comprehensive program of palliative care: informative, educational and research.

Currently, they have a hospitalization unit and rehabilitation day center, as well as visiting homes and assisting families.

Members of RC Marbella-Guadalmina visited Cudeca to see the new paediatric daycare centre which will be completed at the end of June 2025, and presented them with the cheque for money raised at the James Bond Gala event.
