District 2203 Rotary Photographic Competition Entries Close 30 August

Wednesday, 30. June 2021 (All day)

District 2203 and Gibraltar Photographic Competition 2021

The RC Marbella-Guadalmina Photographic Competition aims to promote excellence in photography with members of the 80 Spanish and International Rotary Clubs that make up Rotary District 2203, plus RC Gibraltar, and to raise money for local charities. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic competition entries will be submitted online, with the judging also carried out online.
Entry closes on 30 August 2021.

The judges will select 36 images to go forward to the Semi-Finals, where 12 images will be chosen for the Finals. This ultimate round will decide the First, Second and Third places, each of which will receive a prize donated by the Competition sponsors.
The winners will be announced on 30 September 2021.

In addition, the Rotary Club of the Overall Winner can nominate the charity of their choice to receive half of the total proceeds collected from the Photographic Competition.
Subject to District approval, there will be the option of using the 12 finalist’s images for the 2022 Rotary District 2203 Calendar. Should District decide to print a smaller calendar with two months per page, the top six images will be used.
Rotary is seeking sponsorship of the event from local businesses, which will donate monetary prizes or goods for the First, Second and Third placed photographers.
